Managed a $255M operations & tooling portfolio at Disney — with $3.8M+ in vendor-negotiated savings across categorized indirect spend.

Operations and toolset procurement across Disney's business units — owned the contract surface for anything that touched ops or tools, including litigation research, contract interpretation, deal orchestration, and maintenance/renewal cycles.

  • $255M portfolio under management — owned operations and tooling vendor agreements end-to-end across business units, from initial sourcing through renewal and retirement.
  • $3.8M+ in negotiated savings — drove pricing, terms, and entitlement scope on enterprise software, ops tooling, and infrastructure contracts; right-sized over-licensed positions before auto-renewal triggered.
  • Worked through litigation-adjacent contract issues — researched dispute history, interpreted contract language under counsel, and orchestrated deal positions that held up to legal scrutiny.
  • Ran the maintenance & renewal cadence as a managed pipeline — surfaced renewal triggers months ahead, kept entitlement scope aligned with actual usage, and flagged auto-renew traps before they fired.
  • Identified breakdowns in internal ordering and led rollout of improved intake, PO routing, and cross-functional comms — replaced an email-chain process with one that scaled.
  • Built material forecasts grounded in usage trends and project timelines — gave leadership data-backed reports for purchase planning and risk mitigation, replacing gut-call decisions.

Sourcing for hardware that didn't exist as a catalog SKU.

Stratospheric balloon program for global internet connectivity — moonshot R&D environment where every BOM line was custom and weekly engineering revisions were the baseline, not the exception.

  • Managed procurement and materials planning for R&D-driven hardware builds powering Loon's balloon-based internet delivery systems.
  • Owned BOM revision tracking — kept vendor-facing part lists synchronized with engineering's design changes in real time. The role that doesn't get hired for in stable programs but is mission-critical in a moonshot.
  • Coordinated multiple short-cycle build phases — got mission-critical parts to the bench on time and kept supply continuity intact when launch windows compressed.
  • Built internal trackers to surface sourcing risks early — particularly on long-lead components — and triggered backup-supplier or early-purchase strategies before they became blockers.

Founder & CEO · HIRECAR, LLC · Material & Supply Chain Program Manager

A commercial fleet underwritten, financed, insured, and operated as a yield-bearing asset class — with embedded material planning when supply signals go sideways.

Vehicle co-host operator platform — hirecar.la. Each unit treated as its own micro-asset: financing structured, insurance bound, residual modeled, yield tracked. Concurrent embedded program management on a fast-moving hardware build — material planning, BOM verification, and risk-flagged sourcing across changing build priorities.

Vehicle financial services — what that actually means
  • Auto financing structured per unit. Lease vs. loan decision, APR/term modeled against projected utilization — so monthly carry is sized to expected revenue, not just "what the dealer offered." Each VIN has its own unit economics file.
  • Commercial insurance underwriting. Livery / hire-and-reward policies bound through commercial carriers (not consumer auto) — the right coverage class for vehicles operated for revenue, with named-driver schedules and proper liability limits for fleet exposure.
  • Unit economics & yield modeling. Per-unit P&L: gross revenue → carry − insurance − maintenance − ops = net yield. Break-even utilization tracked monthly. Underperforming units flagged for re-assignment, refinance, or disposal before they drag the portfolio.
  • Residual & depreciation strategy. Depreciation curve mapped against lease residuals so refinance / sell / hold decisions are made before the value crosses the loan balance — not after.
  • JV / co-host capital structure. DocuSign-distributed schedule addenda let capital-providing partners onboard a vehicle into the operating fleet under a single master ops contract, with a clean revenue-split mechanic and operating-cost waterfall.
  • Registration, DMV & compliance ownership. CA commercial registration, smog & renewal cadence, livery permits, and the document trail that keeps each unit operational and insurable.
Concurrent: embedded supply-chain PM
  • Owned material planning against shifting build priorities and part availability — kept build cadence intact when supply signals went sideways and engineering specs moved week-over-week.
  • Partnered with sourcing and engineering on BOM verification — surfaced material-delay risks before they hit the build floor and rerouted to backup suppliers when long-lead parts slipped.
  • Built the long-lead-item watch list and on-time PO discipline that kept the program off the critical-path delay list quarter after quarter.
  • Operated the ERP layer (stock levels, build timelines, lead-time visibility) as the single source of truth across product, ops, and finance.

What I'm known for.

Capabilities · 6 areas
A · BOM & MATERIAL PLANNING

BOMs that survive contact with engineering

Translating week-over-week design changes into vendor-facing part lists without drift. Long-lead watch lists, on-time PO discipline, monthly inventory-at-risk reviews — the work that keeps build cadence intact when the spec moves.

B · VENDOR NEGOTIATION

$255M portfolio managed at Disney

Operations & tooling vendor agreements end-to-end across business units — with $3.8M+ in negotiated savings, litigation-adjacent contract research, and a maintenance/renewal pipeline that flagged auto-renew traps before they fired. Multi-cycle vendor relationships built on tight comms and clean documentation.

C · ERP & P2P OPS

The single source of truth

Operating ERP layers as the truth-source stakeholders pull from without asking. Coupa as the daily procurement surface (4+ years), DocuSign workflow design, Conga document automation. Rebuilt an email-chain ordering process into one that scaled.

D · MOONSHOT-CADENCE SOURCING

Hardware that isn't on a catalog

Project Loon experience translating R&D BOMs into supplier-ready POs with no off-the-shelf catalog. Backup-supplier fanout, early-purchase strategies on long-lead components, build-window protection when launch dates compress.

E · REGULATED-INDUSTRY RIGOR

Documentation defense-tech buyers ask about

Aerospace baseline at Wesco. Compliance-balanced sourcing. Audit-ready file discipline. The kind of program documentation that holds up to ITAR-adjacent reviews and infra-procurement audits without a scramble.

F · FOUNDER-OPERATOR

Cross-functional from instinct, not training

Running HIRECAR concurrently — DMV, insurance, supplier management, partner P&L, JV agreement design. The cross-functional reflex that program management requires, sharpened by also signing the front of the check.

★ Positioning · WHY THIS PROFILE NOW

Hardware-native program management with the documentation discipline defense-tech and AI-infra buyers ask about today.

The career arc isn't a coincidence. Aerospace production engineering at Wesco taught the regulated-industry baseline. Honda HPD added motorsport-cadence delivery pressure. Loon proved the moonshot R&D environment — sourcing for hardware that didn't exist as a catalog SKU. Disney layered in $3.8M+ of indirect-spend negotiation across enterprise software and infrastructure deployments at scale.

What that arc produces is uncommon: a program manager who reads a BOM like an engineer, negotiates like a category buyer, and documents like an aerospace QA lead — the exact profile that defense-tech, AI-infra, and hardware-startup procurement teams now compete to hire.

Available for full-time onsite, hybrid, or remote. Concurrent founder responsibility at HIRECAR — disclosed and structured to not interfere with W-2 obligations.
